Yeah, but most of the time, fumbles can be attributed to the pressure or play of the opponent. So, I still give TW the nod.

True, but in mud and both teams being below average, usually the weather is a bigger factor than the opponent.

    Re: Predictions Week 5

Well then, to make a comparison between the 2 games, both had to be played in mud. But, when the weather is sloppy, an opportunistic D creates more turnovers than the weather does.

True, thats why I am saying its not a completely even comparison. TW does like to rip for the ball though it probably lead to a few of those Reb fumbles.

    Re: Predictions Week 5

Here it is people, Raider Week! Time for THE Mighty Vikings to take back what is rightfully ours! YEAH BABY YEAH! GET YA SOME! CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT!!! This week, the Class of the El-Pee-Dee takes back the LPD crown while the rest of our esteemed district ventures out and kicks the living snot out of three out-of-district pretenders! Life is good in the El-Pee-Dee everyone! Party at Superbeast's house after the games! He's a buyin' too! HOO-WEE!!! On with how it is and how it's gonna be!

Da Raidahs of Downtown Norton, U.S of A @ THE Mighty Vikings of Phil "The Real Deal"? Robbins of the BSG ? Well Raidahs, it's been a good run for you fellers, but all good things come to an end ? at least for y'all! HAHAHA!!! I've heard that Jumbo is bringing Jimmy "The Boogie Woogie Man"? Valiant into the locker room to address the team with an intensely charged pep talk, while all Ole Phil will do before THE Mighty Vikings charge onto the field is raise his TWO hands with his seven state championship rings! YEAH BAY-BEE YEAH!!! Jumbo Adams would do that, but all he's got is that mood ring he won at the fall festival his sixth grade year ? encrusted with dried up Sloppy Joe sauce that he can't even remove with a whole bottle of KABOOM! The Brothers Pinkston, D-E-L-MAS (that's Delmas Lawson, he's so awesome) & Ced-ilicious won't be denied the jubilant confines of the end zone, while Da Raidahs will pause after the game and remember that they used to have what it takes and ponders the future! AHHH, isn't life grand in the BSG Friday night, Kiddos!

The Score: THE Mighty Vikings of the BSG ? 32 Jumbo's Second Place LPD squad - 20

The Jolly Mean Green of Dicko County, ClintVegas R.F.D @ The Lebanese National Football Team of Russell County, VA ? GOOD LORD ETHEL! What in tarnation happened to you boys down in Hawkins County? Seems like y'all got some ugly rubbed on you after all! I hear that y'all have already been ran through the Dicko Decontamination Chamber to get y'all all clean and minty fresh, ready to take on the Lebanese Pie-Uh-Nears! Fear not, young Paddy-Wans, even though the score between the Lebanese and THE Mighty Vikings sounded close, it WAS NOT A CLOSE GAME! These Pie-Uh-Nears play in the CMD (Can't Make A Difference District), also known as the Highlands-Also-Ran Part Deux! They play second rate football, not LPD Big Boy Football! Get ya some Greenwaves, show'em what the El-Pee-Dee is all about BAY-BEE! Young Mr. Robinson is back healthy and will run all over those Red-Headed Stepchildren of Russell County! Times wastin', Jolly Mean Green, get "?em tore up from the floor up! YEE-HAW!

The Score: The Jolly Mean Green of THE LPD ? 34 Juan Valdez Adam'sLebanese Pie-Uh-Nears - 24

The little blue boys of Not-So-Great City @ Coach Roger's Crappalachia BullPup Dawgies of Appy-Town ? One Snott County school down to Coach Roger's BullPup Dawgies, one more to go! The Rot Cove Bore Iggles got manhandled by the Appy-Town boys last week, and here comes their identical county twin Not-So-Great City ? who from what I hear are already lining up, assuming the position to have their collective bee-hinds spanked in unison by our BullPup Dawgies of THE El-Pee-Dee! THATSRIGHTTHATSRIGHTTHATSRIGHT!!! This is beatin' #1 of 4 from El-Pee-Dee competition for the No-Defense Devils, as they continue to struggle on the great gridiron playing fields of Wise County BAY-BEE! The Pie-Uh-Nears knocked "?em down hard last week and from what I've heard they still haven't got up! Kick "?em while they're down while the kickin's good, BullPup Dawgies! Let their El-Pee-Dee thrashings commence! HOO-HA!!!

The Score: Coach Roger's Crappalachia BullPup Dawgies ? 34 little blue boys of Not-So-Great City - 13

The Grungy Golden Stream of Buchanan County @ THE RESERVATION of the K.K. Jelly Injuns (THE TRIBE) ? The road adorned with Patsie Pavement once again finds THE TRIBE awaiting, with the Golden Stream of Grungy standin' next to those orange barrels tryin' to slow down traffic! HYUK HYUK!!! Once again, Injuns, if you can't whoop up on these boys, something is most definitely wrong on THE RESERVATION! Good times once again for Injun_Dud, as he can commence crowing like the Alpha Rooster of the barnyard! COCK-A-DOODLE DOO, MY LITTLE FAT BUDDY! HAHAHA! That "Killer D"? (HYUK HYUK!) will be too much for the Golden Stream, as it barely will make it down their legs and into their cleats come Friday night! A good dose of THE TRIBE offensive attack will have Grungy's boys laying on the ground like after a bad move in a Twister game! HOO HA!!! THE El-Pee-Dee rolls on!!!

The Score: THE TRIBE from THE RESERVATION ? 40 Grungy's Golden Stream ? 12

Open Date @ 8 Ounce High Stinky MildKitties of the LB (Lost-the Ballgame) - Open Date proves that they are a more formidable opponent than Phelps, Kin-Tuck-ee!!! HAR HAR HAR!!! And like my good ole buddy Dobber would say "And that's all I have to say about that!"? GET YA SOME!!!

    Open Date ? 8 8 Ounce High Fightin' Smashed Lightbulbs ? 6

    Re: Predictions Week 5

J.I.B 28 PV 14 -speed kills, and nobody on this end of the state (at very least) has as many burners as the Raiders. PV makes a good showing, but joins the others by the wayside.

Clintwood 21 Lebanaon 20- The Wave got a wakeup cal last week at Volunteer, and will be ready to go Friday night. They will certainly benefit if they have their ballcarrier back in the lineup.

Gate City 21 Appy 20- man this week is a brutal one to pick. I'm gonna miss a few I fear, and this one may be one of them.

VHS 21 Chilhowie 14- another tossup IMO

Coeburn 21 TW 14 -Bright will have a big night

JJK 42 Grungy 14-if you are picking the Urine Showers, I mean Golden Wave to either a) win this one or b) be a close game, then you are in for a letdown. Kelly by a bunch.

    Re: Predictions Week 5

Im finding it hard to believe that so many people are predicting gate city over appy.

Leedy looked like a man against boys at gate city last year, and after seeing the blue devils practice a few times, I dont think they can tackle him. I've always respected gate city, but in all honesty, they looked better last year.

This is coming from a dawg fan who has been very unimpressed with our team so far this year. I may be wrong about this one to, but I just believe the dawgs will be able to pound the football up the middle and control the clock.

    Re: Predictions Week 5

JIB 27 PV 13 the vikings are over rated cedric is way over rated and they dont give pinkston the ball enough

JJK 20 Grundy 14 should be a good game but having seen both neither can pass but kelly has a better running game

APPY 35 GC 17 the dawgs took it to the devils last year same thing this year

Clintwood 35 Lebanon 14 last week clintwood bit off a little more than they could chew but they are still in my opnion the best team in Div 2

Haysi 35 Honaker 21 red is better than everyone thinks and orange is average
